The Design Review Portal has been created to make it simple for landowners, builders and designers to submit home and landscape plans for review.
The Johnson Property Group Design Review Panel assesses proposed home and landscape designs to help create attractive, well-designed streetscapes and communities that feel considered and connected.
Each estate has its own Design Guidelines, which set out the requirements for home design, materials, colours, landscaping and other elements that contribute to the overall character of the community.
Before seeking construction approval from the relevant Council or an accredited private certifier, your builder or designer will need to submit the proposed home design and landscape plan through the portal for assessment and approval by the Johnson Property Group Design Review Panel.
Design Review Panel approval is separate from, and does not replace, any approval required from the relevant Council or an accredited private certifier.
As part of the assessment, the Panel considers homes that have been submitted or approved on neighbouring and surrounding lots. This helps provide variety within the streetscape and avoid repetition of façades and colour schemes. Where changes are required, the Panel will provide clear feedback and work with you and your builder or designer to help achieve a compliant design.
